Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone was announced in February 2020. The phone has a 6.90-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 990 SoC processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2.73GHz, 2 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and 4 cores clocked at 2GHz. It comes with 12GB/16GB of RAM. The Galaxy S20 Ultra runs Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The Galaxy S20 Ultra supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.
Regarding the cameras, the phone on the rear packs a 108-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 48-megapixel (f/3.5) camera, and a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. A single front camera setup for selfies includes a 40-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera also features autofocus.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra runs One UI 5.1 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB and 512GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). The Galaxy S20 Ultra is a Nano-SIM and eSIM or Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The Galaxy S20 Ultra measures 166.9 x 76 x 8.8 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 220.00 grams. It was launched in Cosmic Grey, Cosmic Black, and Cloud White colors. The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water protection (up to 1.5m for 30 min). It bears a glass body.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy S20 Ultra include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. The sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The phone supports face unlock.
