Xiaomi launched its new foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, in the Chinese market today. The MI 18 Fold features a 200-megapixel primary rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. It comes with a 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery and is powered by a Deca Core Xiaomi XRING O3 TSMC 3nm processor. Xiaomi 18 Fold Price, Availability
The Xiaomi 18 Fold is launching with five storage options. The base 12GB+256GB model comes in at 10,999 yuan (roughly $1,638 / €1,411 / ₹154,775), while the 12GB+512GB version costs 11,999 yuan (roughly $1,787 / €1,539 / ₹168,850). Step up to 16GB+512GB, and you’re looking at 12,999 yuan (roughly $1,936 / €1,667 / ₹182,920). For the top-tier configs, the 16GB LPDDR6+1TB variant is priced at 14,999 yuan (roughly $2,234 / €1,924 / ₹211,065), and there’s also a special 16GB LPDDR6+1TB ceramic limited edition going for 15,999 yuan (approximately $2,383 / €2,052 / ₹225,135).

The phone is available in Black, Nishino Red and Warm Gold White (translated from Chinese). The phone is currently available for pre-order, and sales will begin on September 10 in the Chinese market.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold comes with a 7.58-inch inner display packing a 1712 x 1168 resolution, a 120Hz LTPO 1712×1168 refresh rate, DC dimming, and a blazing 4000nits of peak brightness. It’s built with foldable, flexible UTG glass. The outer display measures 5.38 inches, with the same 1712×1168 resolution, 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, DC dimming, 4000nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support on top. The cover display is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0.

Under the hood, it’s running a 4.35GHz deca-core Xiaomi XRING O3 chip built on TSMC’s 3nm process, paired with a 4-core Xuanjie NPU. You get 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 RAM, along with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Software-wise, it runs Xiaomi HyperOS 4 on top of Android 16, and unlocking is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Powering it all is a 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

On the camera side, the MIX Fold 4 packs a serious rear setup: a 200MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with an f/2.8 aperture and OIS, offering 3.5x zoom. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Audio is handled by hi-res sound, dual 1115 speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.
