Samsung Galaxy M30s
Samsung Galaxy M30s Summary
Samsung Galaxy M30s is an updated version of the Galaxy M30, which was launched earlier this year. This new smartphone is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, which is its standout feature. We were impressed by the AMOLED display on this smartphone, as it was crisp and had good viewing angles. The 6.4-inch display also got bright enough when outdoors.
Samsung has picked the Exynos 9611 SoC to power the phone which is the same processor powering the Galaxy A50s, Two phone variants are available: one with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The processor is not as powerful as the Snapdragon 675 SoC, but it is on par with the Snapdragon 710 SoC.
Samsung Galaxy M30s has a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The camera performance of the Galaxy M30s however, was slow to focus while shooting macros. The video recording quality goes up to 4K, but it does not have stabilization. On the other hand, videos shot at 1080p were stabilized.
We could use the phone for close to 2 days with our usage. The large battery helps to keep the phone away from the charger for an extended period. It took about 2 and a half hours to charge the phone using the provided 15W charger.
