OnePlus Nord 4 arrives with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, 100W SuperVOOC Charging
OnePlus Nord 4 was launched on Tuesday (July 16, 2024) as the latest smartphone from the Chinese tech brand. The new Nord series handset, unveiled at OnePlus’ summer launch event, is the successor to last year’s OnePlus Nord 3 and features an AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The phone features a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and dual cameras, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Other notable features of the phone include a 5,500mAh battery, dual stereo speakers, and various AI-based capabilities.
OnePlus Nord 4 Price
In Europe, the OnePlus Nord 4 costs £429/€499 for the 12GB+256GB version, while the top 16GB+512GB option costs £529/€599. Pre-orders are already open and those who pre-book will receive free Nord Buds 3 Pro TWS earphones and a €50 discount if they choose the larger storage version. The open sale will begin on August 8.
In India, pre-orders open on July 20, and on-sale begins on August 2. During the pre-order period, the 8GB+256GB variant will be priced at INR 32,999, while the 12GB+256GB option is priced at INR 35,999.
A third 8GB+128GB version will join them once the shipments start – it will retail for INR 29,999.
OnePlus Nord 4 Specifications
The dual-SIM (nano) OnePlus Nord 4 runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.1 on top. OnePlus promises 4 years of software updates and an additional 2 years of security updates for the new phone. The phone has a 6.74-inch 1.5K (1,240×2,772 pixels) AMOLED display with a 450ppi pixel density, 20.1:9 aspect ratio, 93.50 percent screen-to-body ratio, and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The new Nord phone ships with several AI features such as AI Audio Summary to quickly transcribe a long meeting, AI Note Summary to summarize emails, AI Text Translate for translation, and AI Linkboost for better communication.
OnePlus Nord 4 provided a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The battery unit is claimed to survive over 1,600 charging cycles. It includes OnePlus’ in-house Battery Health Engine technology, which analyzes battery usage and charging habits with the help of AI and optimizes charging once the phone is 80 percent charged. The fast charging technology claims to charge the battery from 1 to 100 percent in just 28 minutes. It measures 162.6x75x8.0mm and weighs 199.5 grams.
