Lava Blaze X announced With MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 5,000mAh Battery
The Lava Blaze X was launched in India on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, as the latest 5G smartphone from homegrown brand Lava. The new phone has a 120Hz curved AMOLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Earlier, there were rumors that it would come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. The Lava Blaze X 5G features a dual rear camera system, led by a 64-megapixel main sensor. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
Lava Blaze X price in India
The price of the Lava Blaze X in India is INR 14,999 ($180) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB variants with 128GB storage are priced at INR 16,999 ($203) respectively. This phone is available in Starlight Purple and Titanium Gray color options and will be ready for purchase starting from July 20 through the Lava e-store and Amazon.
As an introductory offer, Lava is providing a discount of INR 1,000 on all variants.
Lava Blaze X 5G specifications
Lava Blaze X is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone running on Android 14. It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 394ppi pixel density, and 800nits peak brightness. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. Additionally, it has a virtual RAM feature that utilizes the onboard storage to add up to 16GB of additional RAM.
Regarding the cameras, the Lava Blaze X has a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 64-megapixel Sony primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16-megapixel front camera with front flash.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, OTG, 5G, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an IP52 rating and is equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Additionally, it features an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
To power all these features, the Lava Blaze X is supported by a 5,000mAh Li-Polymer battery with 33W wired fast charging capability.
