List of iPhones eligible for iOS 18 update: iPhone XR is still supported.
At the annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC24), on Monday 10th Jun 2024, Apple officially announced the newest operating system for the iPhone, iOS18. The list of iPhones that can support iOS 18 has also been released.
iOS 18 presents a new Home Screen display, now users can place application icons anywhere, and there is also Apple Intelligence’s generative AI feature, a redesigned Photos application, and much more.
There is at least a list of 24 iPhones that are still receiving the iOS18 update, all of these iPhones are iPhone series that now support iOS 17.

iOS 18 itself will emphasize an AI feature called Apple Intelligence, but unfortunately, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max from the list above can run this generative AI.
This is because Apple Intelligence can only be run by the A17 Pro, M1 chip, or newer chip to run various advanced AI features.
