
Motorola kicks off 2025 with the unveiling of new smartphones in its historic Moto G range. The Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025 are updates to their respective previous models. Here are the details of these new Android smartphones.
Motorola Moto G 2025 Features:
The Motorola Moto G 2025 sports a 6.7-inch 120Hz Gorilla Glass 3 display with up to 1,000 nits brightness and is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage expandable via microSD.
The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W wired charging and offers IP52 water and dust resistance. The rear camera includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens, while the front features a 16MP camera.
Motorola Moto G Power 2025 Features:
Motorola Moto G Power 2025 sports the same display as the base model, but the diagonal is 6.8 inches. It is also animated by the Dimensity 6300 SoC, but with 8 GB of RAM and at least 128 GB of storage space. The rear camera consists of a 50 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, while on the front, there is a 16 MP camera.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging (no Qi2). The water and dust resistance is IP69, the same rating as the OnePlus 13. Both new smartphones include NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack and run Android 15.

Motorola Moto G 2025 will be available in the US on January 30, starting at $199. Motorola Moto G Power 2025 will go on sale in early February, starting at $299.
