Samsung Galaxy Note8 Summary

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is slightly taller and heavier than the S8+ but feels better built and more solid in your hand. The 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display is gorgeous and produces excellent contrast. The S-Pen is now IP68 certified and has a finer tip. It allows users to create hand-drawn GIFs, translate words, phone, and search the web with Bixby Vision. This phone is powerful, too, thanks to the Exynos 9 Octa SoC and 6GB of RAM.

The phone’s dual rear cameras are a first for the company and let you do things like Live Focus, which adds a pleasing bokeh effect behind your subject. The primary sensor delivers excellent detail, both in daylight and at night. Battery life could have been better, and we struggled to get a full day’s usage out of each charge.

Battery

Battery Type Battery Type => Cell phones run on various kinds of batteries depending on the manufacturer, phone size or shape and features. There are basically four types of cell phone batteries => Lithium Polymer, Lithium Ion, Nickel Metal Hydride and Nickel Cadmium. Li-Ion (Lithium Ion)
Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. 3300 mAh, non-removable
Charging Wireless Charging (Inductive Charging) uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station. Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. 15W wired, QC2 Wireless (Qi/PMA) (market dependent)
Talk Time Talk Time is the longest time that a single battery charge will last when you are constantly talking on the phone under perfect conditions, Ambient temperature and highly dependent on the cellular network environment such as the distance to the closest cell network tower. Up to 22 h (3G)
