Asus ROG Phone 9 Summary
Asus ROG Phone 9 smartphone was announced on 19th November 2024. The phone has a 6.78-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels (FHD+), and display sports Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor powers ROG Phone 9. It comes with 12GB/16GB of RAM. The ROG Phone 9 runs Android 15 and is powered by a 5800mAh non-removable battery. The ROG Phone 9 supports proprietary fast charging.
Regarding the cameras, the phone on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50MP (f/F1.9) primary camera; a 13MP (ultra wide-angle) camera, and a 5MP (macro) camera. A single front camera setup for selfies features a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/f/2.4 aperture.
Asus ROG Phone 9 runs ROG UI based on Android 15 and packs 256GB and 512GB of built-in storage. The ROG Phone 9 is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It measures 163.80 x 77.00 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 227.00 grams. It was released in Phantom Black and Storm White colors, featuring an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
Connectivity options on the ROG Phone 9 include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.40, NFC, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi Direct with active 4G on both SIM cards. The sensors on the ROG Phone 9 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone supports face unlock.
