Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone was announced in February 2019. The phone has a 7.30-inch touchscreen primary display offering a resolution of 1536×2152 pixels at a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch (ppi). It also features a 4.60-inch touchscreen as its second display, with a resolution of 720×1680 pixels at a pixel density of 399 pixels per inch (ppi). The phone is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone runs Android Pie and is powered by a 4380mAh non-removable battery. The phone supports wireless charging, as well as Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging.
Regarding the cameras, the phone on the rear packs a 16MP (f/F2.2, 1.0-micron) primary camera; a 12MP (f/F1.5/F2.4, 1.4-micron) camera, and a 12MP (f/F2.4, 1.0-micron) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. On the front, the phone packs a 10MP primary camera with an f/F2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.22-micron and a second 8MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron.
Samsung Galaxy Fold runs One UI based on Android Pie and packs 512GB of built-in storage. The phone is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM cards. The phone measures 160.90 x 62.80 x 17.10mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 276.00 grams. It was launched in Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green, and Astro Blue colors. It bears a metal body.
Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G with active 4G on both SIM cards. The sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The phone supports face unlock.
