Samsung Galaxy M40
Samsung Galaxy M40 Summary
Samsung Galaxy M40 boasts several segment firsts such as a hole-punch display and a vibrating screen for the earpiece. It features a bright and vibrant 6.3-inch full-HD+ PLS TFT LCD, which has good viewing angles but also mild vignetting around the edges, which can be distracting. The body is thin and light but the plastic back easily attracts scratches.
Samsung Galaxy M40 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, which is good for gaming but just like the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the chip heats very quickly when playing heavy games such as PUBG: Mobile. The Samsung M40 has only one variant, which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The latter is expandable but a hybrid slot so you can’t have two SIMs and a microSD card. OneUI, which is based on Android 9 Pie, runs smoothly.
The 32-megapixel primary camera at the back shoots decent pictures under good light, but in low light, the autofocus is slow and images lack good detail. The wide-angle camera is useful but the quality could be better. The 5-megapixel depth sensor is good for capturing objects and pets, but not as effective for taking pictures of people. Video recording quality is average with no stabilization, maxing out at 4K. The 3,500mAh battery lasts all day on one charge, which is a good thing.

Battery
Battery Type Battery Type => Cell phones run on various kinds of batteries depending on the manufacturer, phone size or shape and features. There are basically four types of cell phone batteries => Lithium Polymer, Lithium Ion, Nickel Metal Hydride and Nickel Cadmium. | Li-Poly (Lithium Polymer) |
Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. | 3500 mAh, non-removable |
Charging Wireless Charging (Inductive Charging) uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station. Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. | 15W wired |
