Samsung Galaxy S26 smartphone was announced in February 2026. It features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels (FHD+). The phone display sports Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. The phone is powered by a 10-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 16 and is powered by a 4300mAh non-removable battery. The phone supports 15W wireless charging and 25W wired fast charging.
Regarding the cameras, the Galaxy S26 on the rear features a triple-camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) primary camera, a 10MP (f/2.4, telephoto) camera, and a 12MP (f/2.2, ultra-wide-angle) camera. It features a single front camera setup for selfies, equipped with a 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy S26 runs on One UI 8.5, based on Android 16, and features 256GB and 512GB of built-in storage. It is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It measures 149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 167.0 grams. It was launched in six colors: Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black, White, Silver Shadow, and Pink Gold. The phone features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.40, NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, 4G, and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards. The phone’s sensor options include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The phone supports face unlock.
