Xiaomi 17 Pro Summary
Xiaomi 17 Pro smartphone was announced on September 25th, 2025. It features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.30-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1220×2656 pixels (1.5K)—the display sports Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass for protection. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and 12GB or 16GB of RAM. The Mi 17 Pro runs Android 16 and is powered by a 6300mAh non-removable battery. The Mi 17 Pro supports 50W wireless charging and 100W wired fast charging.
Regarding the cameras, the Mi 17 Pro on the rear features a triple camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.7) primary camera, a 50MP (f/3.0, periscope telephoto) camera, and a 50MP (f/2.4, ultra-wide-angle) camera. It features a single front camera setup for selfies, equipped with a 50MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
Xiaomi 17 Pro runs HyperOS 3, is based on Android 16, and comes with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of built-in storage. It is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It measures 151.1 x 71.8 x 8.0mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 192.0 grams. It was launched in Black, White, Purple, and Green colours. The phone features an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.40, NFC, and USB Type-C with active 4G on both SIM cards. The phone’s sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
