Chinese smartphone maker Realme is set to launch a new smartphone series in India soon. The company has revealed the design and color options for the Realme 16 Pro series. The upcoming smartphone series has been developed in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
Realme 16 Pro Series Design, Colourways Revealed
This smartphone series will include the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. The smartphone series will be available in four colors in the country, two of which will be exclusive to India. These smartphones will be sold through the company’s website and e-commerce platform Flipkart. This isn’t the first time Fukasawa has collaborated with Realme on smartphone designs. He previously designed the Realme X, Realme X2 Pro, Realme GT, and Realme GT 2 Pro.

The upcoming smartphone series will be launched in Master Gold and Master Grey colours in the country. The 16 Pro 5G and16 Pro+ 5G will be available in Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple colours, which will be made available only in India. These smartphones will have a triple rear camera unit inside a square-shaped module. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Pricing and launch date of these smartphones are expected to be announced in the next few weeks.

Realme 16 Pro Specs (Expected)
The Realme 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. The smartphone is expected to be available in 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, along with 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB storage options. The phone is expected to have a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. It may also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Realme 15 Pro, launched in India in July this year, features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ 4D Curve+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 6,500 nits peak brightness level. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor powers the smartphone.
