Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+ expand globally with AI camera features

A few days after the presentation of the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G in China, today the manufacturer announces the global version of the smartphone: the new device arrives in the company of the Realme 14 Pro 5G, which shares some of the features but has some differences to favor a lower price. Let’s find out everything about the new pair of Android smartphones from Realme.

Realme 14 Pro 5G Series Official in Global Versions

The new duo’s flagship model is the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G, which has a 6.83-inch OLED display. However, its sibling, the Realme 14 Pro 5G, is impressive with a 6.77-inch diagonal OLED display: both panels have a resolution above Full-HD, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and an integrated fingerprint reader.

Although the displays share some similarities, the core of the two smartphones is entirely different: the Pro+ model can count on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, while the Pro model has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC: both are supported by at least 8 GB of RAM (the Pro+ is also offered in a 12 GB version) and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, but these configurations could change from market to market.

There are also differences in the photographic sector. Realme 14 Pro+ 5G can count on a triple rear camera with a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor (1/1.56″, f/1.8, OIS), a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope sensor (1/1.95″, f/2.65, OIS, 73 mm, 3x optical zoom and SuperZoom up to 120x) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor (f/2.2, 16 mm, 112° FoV), and a 32MP front camera (f/2.0); The Realme 14 Pro 5G maintains a similar configuration in terms of design, but in reality we find a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor (1/1.95″, f/1.8, OIS, 26 mm), flanked by a monochrome camera (f/2.4, 22 mm, 89° FoV), as well as a 16 MP front camera.

The battery is fascinating, in both cases a good 6000 mAh: the more expensive model also offers 80W SUPERVOOC wired fast charging. At the same time, on the 14 Pro, you have to “make do” with 45W SUPERVOOC. Realme guarantees a capacity of at least 80% after more than 1600 charging cycles.

Both smartphones come with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. The Realme 14 Pro 5G Series are launched in Pearl White, Suede Grey, Jaipur pink (Pro only), and Bikaner purple (Pro+ only). The Pearl White version is particularly noteworthy as it can react to temperature changes (changing from white to blue when cold). They also have IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance certifications.

Realme 14 Pro 5G Series Price & Release Date

Realme 14 Pro 5G Series has been unveiled in the Indian market and launched for pre-order, but the manufacturer plans to expand soon. In the country, these are the recommended retail prices:
