Realme GT Shows Off Prototype Phone with 10,000 mAh Battery—After successfully introducing 240W super-fast charging technology through the Realme GT Neo 5 in early 2023, Realme is back to showing off its latest innovation in smartphone power.
Recently, Realme showcased a smartphone prototype with an incredible battery capacity of 10,000mAh, supported by 320W ultra-fast charging technology.
Realme GT7 Prototype: A Phone with a 10,000 mAh Battery
The prototype was introduced through the Realme GT7 device, which is rumored to be released to the market soon.
Seeing its very large battery capacity, many might think that this device will have a large and thick body. However, the facts on the ground say otherwise.

Realme has managed to maintain a slim design with a thickness of only 8.5 mm and a weight of around 215 grams.
One of the main factors that makes this possible is the use of a 10% silicon anode technology battery, which is able to increase the energy density to 887Wh/L.
This technology allows Realme to embed a large capacity battery without having to significantly enlarge the dimensions of the device.

Innovation in Internal Design
Not only on the battery, Realme also innovates on other internal components. The motherboard size on this prototype has been successfully reduced to just 23.4 mm, making it one of the smallest among Android smartphones currently available. With a more compact motherboard design, internal space can be utilized more efficiently to accommodate a large battery.
Still in Development Stage
It should be noted that this device is still a prototype. The final version of the Realme GT7 will not carry a 10,000mAh battery like the prototype. However, Realme is known as a manufacturer that is consistent in realizing innovations that they previously introduced in concept form. An example is the 240W charging technology, which was previously doubted but was successfully realized.
Chase Xu, President of Global Marketing at Realme, even shared a two-minute unboxing video showing the prototype and explaining its development process. This further shows Realme’s seriousness in exploring battery technology innovations in the future.
Conclusion
With this bold step, Realme has once again demonstrated its commitment as one of the leading innovators in the smartphone industry. If this technology is truly successfully implemented on a mass scale, then the future of smartphones with super large batteries and ultra-fast charging will no longer be just talk.
Let’s look forward to the next surprise from Realme in the near future.
