First image for Oppo Find N5 or OnePlus Open 2 and it’s already a “record”

In the past few hours, the OPPO team has published the first teaser image of one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2025: we are talking about the OPPO Find N5, a foldable device that will arrive on the market in certain countries with the name OnePlus Open 2.

OPPO Find N5 will make its official debut next month in China and among its main features will be a renewed design, with great work by the engineering team aimed at reducing the size of the body to a minimum, so much so that the manufacturer speaks of the “thinnest foldable smartphone in the world”.

Record-breaking thickness for OPPO Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2

Pete Lau, Chief Product Officer of OPPO and founder of OnePlus, wanted to focus on this aspect, and the Chinese manufacturer, to highlight the reduced thickness of the smartphone, published the following image, where the comparison is made with a pencil:

Considering that the thickness of a pencil is about 7mm, the OPPO Find N5 (or OnePlus Open 2) could have a body that is about 4mm thick when open and less than 1cm when closed.

The smartphone will also have a titanium body, a material that will guarantee users considerable resistance.

Among the other features of the OPPO Find N5 or OnePlus Open 2, according to rumors, there should be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 6.85-inch LTPO display with 1.5K resolution, a triple 50-megapixel rear camera made in collaboration with Hasselblad, a 6,000 mAh battery (with support for 100 W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging) and support for satellite communication.

Finally, on the software side, the smartphone should hit the market with the ColorOS interface based on
Android 15.
