Oppo Reno 12 Series launched globally With MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoCs
Oppo Reno 12 series was launched in selected global markets on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, weeks after their initial unveiling in China. The global looks of the handsets have some similarities with their Chinese counterparts. However, the global Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro are supported by MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoCs. In China, the Oppo Reno 12 lineup is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition SoC and a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition chipset. The global models of the phones also include several generative AI features such as AI Studio and AI Summary.

Oppo Reno 12 is priced at €499 for the lone 12GB+256GB option. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is listed at €599 for its 12GB+256GB option.
Oppo Reno 12 is available in Astro Silver and Matte Brown color options, while the Oppo Reno 12 Pro variant is offered in Nebula Silver and Space Brown shades.

The global variants of Oppo Reno 12 Series sport 6.7-inch full-HD+ (2,412 x 1,080 pixels) curved OLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of up to 1,200 nits. The base option gets Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, while the Pro variant’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection.
Both Oppo Reno 12 variants are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipsets with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. They ship with ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14.
In the camera department, the Reno 12 has a 50-megapixel primary sensor an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens a 2-megapixel macro shooter on the back, and a 32-megapixel sensor on the front. Meanwhile, the Reno 12 Pro has the same main and ultra-wide cameras as the base model. The Pro variant’s third camera is a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter, while the handset’s front camera has a 50-megapixel sensor.
Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro are equipped with 5,000mAh batteries and support 80W wired SuperVOOC charging. The phones also offer 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C connectivity.
