Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) Summary

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is built using aluminum and glass, which makes it feel very premium. Its 5.2-inch display size makes it comfortable to use. The Super AMOLED display produces good colors and brightness. The fingerprint sensor works well, and the buttons have good feedback. Although heavy games don’t always run smoothly, the Exynos 7880 provides decent power for the UI and most apps. The 16-megapixel rear sensor has slow focus and needs better detail in landscapes and macros. It lacks a 4K video recording, too. Battery life is good, as we managed to get a full day’s worth of regular use.

Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. 3000 mAh, non-removable
Charging Wireless Charging (Inductive Charging) uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station. Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. 18W wired
Talk Time Talk Time is the longest time that a single battery charge will last when you are constantly talking on the phone under perfect conditions, Ambient temperature and highly dependent on the cellular network environment such as the distance to the closest cell network tower. Up to 16 h (3G)
