Samsung is set to launch its new F-series smartphone, the Galaxy F36 5G, in India this week. The company confirmed its official launch date on its social media handle on Tuesday. This phone will be launched in India on July 19 at noon and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. The phone has been called “Flex Hi-FAI”, which points to its AI-supported smart features.

The Galaxy F36 5G is available in two color options: Red and Purple, featuring a leather-finished back panel. The phone features a triple rear camera setup, which is vertically aligned, and its design is similar to that of the Galaxy M36 5G.
Some AI features of this smartphone have already been teased, including Edit Suggestions, Object Eraser, and Image Clipper. A dedicated landing page for this has also gone live on Flipkart, confirming its availability.

If the leaks are to be believed, the Galaxy F36 5G will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset and will also have 6GB of RAM. The phone can be seen running Android 15-based One UI 7. The display size features a 6.7-inch display with 1,080×2,340 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 450ppi. The Galaxy F36 is a lower-mid-range smartphone and will be priced under INR 20,000.
Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is believed to be an upgrade to the Galaxy F34 5G that came last year. The F34 was launched in India in August 2023, with a starting price of INR 18,999. The older model had features like an Exynos 1280 processor, a 6,000mAh battery, a 50MP primary camera, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
