Oppo introduced two new champions in the middle class: Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro. Both were officially launched in China on Thursday, May 5, 2025, and both emphasize photography capabilities and capable performance for various daily needs.

What’s interesting is that the Reno 14 series is designed not only for fashionistas but also for users who are passionate about being productive and creative. Starting from a 50 MP camera that can record 4K video, a jumbo battery, and other premium features.
However, there is still a class difference between the two. The Reno 14 Pro is positioned as a more “pro” version with more powerful specifications, especially in the chipset, camera, battery, and screen sectors.
Oppo Reno 14 Pro Specifications
Oppo Reno 14 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, a new chipset that has yet to appear on MediaTek’s official website at the time of writing. Still, Oppo is confident about using it in its Pro lineup.

This phone comes in several very spacious memory options:
About the camera? No need to ask. The Reno 14 Pro has a triple 50MP rear camera setup:

There is a 50 MP (f/2.0) front camera with a 90° viewing angle and autofocus for selfies and video calls. The front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 60 fps. The front camera also has a Super Stabilization feature, but it is only active in 1080p 30 fps recording.
The screen is no joke either:
The battery is super jumbo, 6,200 mAh, and it is said to last for 5 hours of nonstop live streaming or 8 hours of gaming!
Charging is also fast:

Oppo even provides additional accessories:
This accessory is perfect for content creators, especially those who like to live stream for hours. The OPPO Reno 14 Pro has three microphones and noise reduction features to keep the sound clear. The cooling fan also has a temperature sensor to keep performance stable.

Oppo Reno 14 Specifications
Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno 14 has a design similar to the Pro version. It still uses a flat screen, rounded body design on all four corners, a punch hole in the top center for the front camera, and a box-shaped camera module with a zig-zag formation.
The screen is slightly smaller at 6.59 inches, but it is still very comfortable for watching or scrolling through social media. Both Reno 14 models are coated with Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass, which makes the body more durable.

The Reno 14’s camera specifications are slightly reduced. The ultrawide camera drops to 8 MP but still has a 115° wide viewing angle. The rest is the same: the main and telephoto cameras remain 50 MP, and the front camera also remains 50 MP.

In the engine sector, the Reno 14 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350. It offers a choice of 12 GB or 16 GB RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB internal memory.
The battery is slightly smaller than the Pro version, at 6,000 mAh, but still supports 80W fast charging via cable. Unfortunately, this version does not support wireless charging.
